SOTON NAVS is led by a team of slightly older people who live and work in and around Southampton. Some of those on the team have jobs while others work full-time or part-time for the Navigators (as Representatives). The Student team are ably supported by a number of older students who help to lead groups and meet up with individuals within the group. Below are the details for the SOTON NAVS student team.

Tim Peters (Full-time Rep, Prayer Tsar)
Tim thinks that he is probably the most attractive of the bunch of Soton Navs :P. He has been married to Lowri since October 2009 and now works full time as a Navigator representative. His passions in life include activities such as team games (football, canoeing, board-games) and time alone with a good book and his wife.
Lowri Peters Lowri loves spending time with her work collegues from HSBC, Drinks and Cake! Lowri says that "she married a guy named Tim, probably because he hit her me round the head with a heavy object, but love him dearly". Both Tim and Lowri studied in Southampton as students and in 2005 Tim served on the NAVS Connect programme in Southampton.

James Pritchard (PHD student, Responsible for Marketing & Communications, IGNITE)
James became involved with The Navigators when he became part of the long succession of lodgers living with the McClure family. He is studying for an Engineering Doctorate at the University of Southampton, in the field of Transport and the Environment (that's "trains" to you and me). It keeps him out of mischief, although sadly most people would see through any claim that watching Chuggington with Benjamin is purely "research." James waves his hands around a lot, and has a real passion for working with people. He loves to see them getting involved, fulfilling their potential, and deepening their relationship with Christ.

Since then he has worked in a Parmaceutical Lab, with Navigators on their Connect Graduate Scheme, and at various times as an Administrator with the University and a small UK based charity. From 2008 - 2010 he lived in London and then onboard the ship Doulos voyaging round East Asia. Here he developed a love for things international, and from 2011 as a Trainee Rep he is excited about motivating students to reach out to their international neighbours and coursemates with the transforming message of Christ's love, sacrificial death and promise of eternal life! He enjoys reading, walking, the great outdoors, music, and is currently learning the mandolin.

Stephen graduated from the University of Leicester in 2010 with a degree in history. He has been involved with the Navigators for 5 years. This year he will again be serving full time on the NAVS’ Connect programme (second year). His role in Evangelism is to help and facilitate us as a group go to people who don’t know about Jesus and tell them how great God is! He will also tell them that attending ‘Ignite’ is a really, really splendid idea! His hobbets include rambling and good food and good music. He is part of a tiny minority of NAVS who realise that coffee is superior to tea.
