Our Vision
At SOTON NAVS our vision is "to encourage students to know, love and share Jesus Christ through purposeful, intentional and reproducible disciple-making as we share our lives together in community."
Who are we?
There has been a Student NAVS group in Southampton since 1968, working with and alongside the CU. Since 2005 it has been led by Steve & Debbie McClure, and they are joined by a number of other full-time and part-time Representatives (Tim Peters, Dave Callaghan & Stephen Merritt-Harrison). The group serves students from both of the Universities in Southampton and many of the different churches in Southampton. Our purpose is to help each other be disciples of Jesus Christ and make him known on campus. If you are looking for a safe place to interact with key spiritual questions or you are looking for discipleship, support and a small group Bible study then this group is for you. It's not easy being a Christian eh? But it's so totally worth it. :) Again, I just wanna thank the Navs family for playing such an important part in helping me embrace Jesus in my life. I really cannot imagine life without Him now.

It has been such a blessing to be involved in a group whose enthusiasm & encouragement left me wanting more. The groups are always challenging and have raised my awareness of just how relevant the bible is to my life and how I can live it out. The Navs are committed to investing in individuals; seeing people like me grow in faith and helping me to live it out.
